Our filter cartridges remove dirt, sand, silt, rust, grit and other suspended particles up to 5 micron in municipal and potable water to increase quality. Recommended replacement time is 4-6 months or every 750 gallons of use depends on the quality of the original water source. Made with 100% pure polypropylene.
